I’m on my own now, so I have the time to devote to my interests. One of them is to try to connect with fellow writers and artists who want to share what it’s like to lead a creative life these days. During the day, I teach high school French in Central New Jersey. In my free time, I write for The Woven Tale Press and Passage Theater, and I take a daily walk and cook nutritious meals, particularly when my kids are home. As an empty nester, I’m thinking about the next phase of my life, the one after retirement when I’ll devote myself to activities that really make me feel alive.
As far as my credentials, I earned an MFA in Creative Non-Fiction from Vermont College of Fine Arts, and a Masters in journalism from Columbia University. I completed my undergraduate work at the University of California, Berkeley.
